Kuwait city: Egypt and Saudi Arabia signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Monday focusing on the exchange of transport and road expertise. The agreement was formalized during the 74th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Transport, which was chaired by Kuwait's Minister of Public Works, Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the signing of the MoU underscores the longstanding ties between Egypt and Saudi Arabia and their commitment to fostering new avenues of cooperation in the face of regional challenges. The agreement was signed by Egyptian Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, Kamel Al-Wazeer, alongside the Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistic Services, Saleh Al-Jasser.
The partnership is set to enhance knowledge exchange, human resource development, and scientific research in road infrastructure. It is anticipated that this collaboration will lead to joint projects and provide opportunities for skill-building and professional development for specialists in both nations.
