Makkah: Dust-stirring winds are forecasted to affect several regions in Saudi Arabia, including Makkah, Riyadh, Madinah, Qassim, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Eastern, and Najran, extending to the eastern parts of the southwestern highlands of the Kingdom.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has predicted that these winds will cause reduced visibility and may affect daily activities in the impacted areas.
In the Red Sea, wind conditions will vary with northwesterly to southwesterly winds in the northern part and northerly to northwesterly winds in the central and southern parts. Wind speeds are expected to range from 15 to 30 km/h. Wave heights will vary between half a meter to one and a half meters, resulting in relatively calm sea conditions.
Over the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly winds are predicted at speeds of 25-50 km/h. Waves in this region will range from one and a half meters to two and a half meters, making the sea conditions relatively calm to choppy.
