Al-hajra: The second edition of the Digital Development Caravan has arrived in Al-Hajra Governorate, marking its second stop after departing from Al-Makhwah Governorate. This initiative is being carried out under the directives of Governor of Al-Baha Region Prince Dr. Hussam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the caravan is designed to facilitate access to essential services for citizens and residents, with a special focus on families receiving social security benefits, older adults, and people with disabilities. The event is being hosted at Andalus Park in Al-Hajra from April 6 to 8, operating daily from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. It sees participation from a range of government, private-sector, and nonprofit entities.
The caravan offers a variety of services including employment and empowerment opportunities, social and health services, and assistance with civil affairs, passport, and traffic-related needs. In addition to these, the caravan aims to increase digital awareness and training among attendees. For those unable to attend in person, home services are being provided to ensure inclusivity.
