DCO Chief Touts Kuwait Digital Indicators

Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) Deemah Al-Yahya on Monday commended Kuwait's pioneering role and commitment to harnessing technology as a catalyst for sustainable growth. Al-Yahya's remarks came after Kuwait's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, presented his credentials as Kuwait's Permanent Representative to the DCO.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Yahya stated that Kuwait's upcoming presidency of the DCO for 2025 is a reflection of a strategic vision and a genuine commitment to employing technology and the digital economy for justice and sustainable growth both within and beyond Kuwait. She highlighted that Kuwait's digital indicators underscore its leadership, with the country's Internet usage rate exceeding 99 percent.
