Riyadh: The Ministry of Culture announced today the results of the first cycle of the Cultural Research Grants Program, awarding grants across six cultural research themes: Anthropology Studies; Saudi Arabia from a Global Perspective; Children's Culture; Creative Economy; Culture and Sustainability; and Rights of Creatives and Artists.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the first cycle attracted significant interest with 1,836 applications submitted by researchers from 34 countries. Following a rigorous evaluation process, 70 researchers and research teams were selected.
The program provides a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration, fostering dialogue among researchers, cultural practitioners, and institutions within the Kingdom and internationally.
Through the Cultural Research Grants Program, the ministry demonstrates its commitment to advancing scientific research in the cultural sector and supporting research that contributes to it.
