Kuwait city: Kuwait's Civil Service Commission (CSC) decided that all government bodies and institutions be on a day off this Thursday, January 1, 2026, for the New Year celebrations. According to Kuwait News Agency, regular work will resume on the following Sunday, January 4, 2026, as stated in a post on CSC's X account on Friday. Institutions with special work nature can specify their respective holidays according to the requirements of the public interest, the statement added.
