Civil Servants’ Special Payments Cut Effective from May 1: PIFSS

Kuwait City: The Public Institution For Social Security (PIFSS) announced on Saturday that the execution of the cabinet's decision to reduce special payments and suspend bonuses for civil servants would be effective starting May 1.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the decision reflects the government's commitment to implementing financial adjustments as part of its broader economic strategy. The move involves reducing certain special payments and halting bonuses that were previously granted to civil servants. The adjustment in payment structures is aimed at aligning with the cabinet's recent directives regarding public sector compensation.

PIFSS emphasized that these changes are part of an ongoing effort to manage financial resources more effectively. The institution assured that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure a smooth transition as the new payment structures are implemented.
