Kabul: At least seven people, including a Chinese national, were killed while around 13 others received injuries in Afghanistan's capital city Kabul on Monday, said officials. Kabul police spokesperson, Khalid Zadran, stated that an explosion occurred at the joint restaurant of Chinese Muslims and Afghans in the Gulforoshi Alley of Shahr-I-Naw in the capital. According to Kuwait News Agency, Khalid Zadran confirmed that seven people, including a Chinese national, were killed in the explosion. The spokesperson further mentioned that the restaurant owner, a Chinese Muslim, was among those who lost their lives in the blast. A Kabul emergency hospital director, Dejan Panic, confirmed that the hospital had received 20 people, out of which seven succumbed to their injuries. The injured included four women and a child, highlighting the devastating impact of the explosion on the local community.
