Governor of the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) Dr Mohammad Al-Hashel and the European Commissioner for Budget and Administration Johannes Hahn discussed the most prominent global economic developments and post-Covid-19 prospects for the global economy, amongst other topics of mutual interest.
In a statement on Monday, CBK noted that the meeting discussed issues of mutual concern between Kuwait and the European Union (EU), adding that it was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Finance and Kuwait Investment Authority.
The meeting als discussed the global economic outlook and the robust economic recovery after the pandemic, which had unprecedented economic impacts on all countries, as well as other issues relating to finance and banking, it said.
