Some 42,000 people are participating in Brussel’s 20km race, which started Sunday morning.
The race kicked off in Cinquantenaire Park, with the first group of athletes with disabilities, following the first of five waves of runners and finally the walkers.
The Brussels 20km race was first held on June 8, 1980 with approximately 4,659 runners.
