Amman: British Prime Minister Keir Starmer expressed on Saturday his deep concern over the renewed Israeli Occupation military aggression against Gaza, as well as the lack of humanitarian aid entering into the Strip. This came during a conversation between Starmer and Jordan's King Abdullah II where the two sides discussed recent developments in the region.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Starmer expressed his gratitude for the role Jordan plays in trying to reach a political solution to the issue, praising the Arab initiative for Gaza. Both leaders agreed on the necessity of continuing to urge the Israeli occupation and Hamas to return to the ceasefire agreement.
The Israeli occupation violated the ceasefire that lasted for several weeks after launching air raids, resulting in hundreds of deaths, including children and women, last Tuesday.
