London: Britain's King Charles III expressed his "deepest concern" regarding the arrest of his younger brother, former Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who has been detained on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
According to Kuwait News Agency, King Charles made this statement through a press release, emphasizing that the due process of law must be followed. He stated, "What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities, let me state clearly, the law must take its course."
Earlier in the day, British police announced the arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. He is suspected of misconduct in a public function, having served for many years as an international trade representative for the United Kingdom.
