Kuwait City: Boursa Kuwait witnessed over the past week a performance characterized by diverse results as the indexes of the number, volume, and value of the traded chips turned bullish while the benchmark was bearish. According to Kuwait News Agency, AlShall Consulting Company reported that Alshall index (value) reached 700.2 points at the end of Thursday's trades, falling by 15.9 points, or 2.2 percent, compared to the past week's closure. However, it remained bullish by 64 points, equating to a 10.1 percent increase compared to the 2024 closing. The number of companies whose stock prices climbed last week reached 23, compared to 12 the previous week. Meanwhile, the prices of chips from two companies remained steady, down from three the previous week. Bourse Kuwait, since 2016, has played a pivotal role in development and innovation in the financial market.
