Boursa Kuwait’s Liquidity Surges to KD 2.853 Billion in February

Kuwait City: Boursa Kuwait's liquidity reached KD 2.853 billion (about USD 8.7 billion) last February, with a daily exchange rate of about KD 167.8 million (about USD 516.8 million), marking an 84.4 percent rise compared to January, which recorded about KD 91 million (USD 280.28 million).

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Boursa's performance was higher in February than that of January. The Premier Market Index rose by 4.7 percent, the Main Market Index increased by 1.1 percent, while the All Share Market Index rose by 4.1 percent, and the Main Market 50 Index went up by 6.1 percent.

The liquidity rate for January and February reached KD 4.581 billion (about USD 14.10 billion), with a daily exchange rate of KD 127.3 million (about USD 392 million). This is a 92.4 percent rise compared to the daily exchange of the same period in 2024, which was about KD 66.2 million (USD 203.8 million), the report said.

Boursa Kuwait was established in April 2014. It plays a vital role in developing Kuwait's stock market and fostering economic diversity.
