Belgium: Belgium condemned on Tuesday the Israeli occupation airstrikes on Gaza overnight, which killed hundreds, warning of their heavy human toll.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot expressed his concerns on the social media platform X, stating that the agreement between the Israeli occupation and Hamas is "clear: it calls for a ceasefire and the release of hostages." Prevot denounced the new Israeli airstrikes and highlighted their heavy human toll, which he warned threatens the objectives of peace and ceasefire.
The Belgian minister also emphasized the blocking of humanitarian aid to Palestinian civilians as "a serious violation of international law." He urged the involved parties to implement the second phase of the agreement, which should pave the way for reconstruction and peace for all parties. Prevot noted that the Arab countries, with the support of the European Union, have already proposed a plan to achieve these goals, adding a plea to not regress in the peace process.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the Israeli occupation airstrikes resulted in hundreds of deaths and injuries across the Gaza Strip.
