Because of the Iranian gas, the hours of supplying electricity to the cities of Diyala reduced

A source in Diyala Electricity attributed the reasons for the deterioration of the electric current and the lack of hours of supply to the decrease in the quantities of imported Iranian gas.

The source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: “Diyala’s share of the Iranian Mirsad pipeline decreased from 400 / to / 270 / megawatts due to the small quantities of Iranian gas allocated to operate electric power plants.”

He added: “Diyala’s share of the Mirsad power line decreased by 30%, in addition to the decrease in the share of the national system after the decline in Iranian gas supplies.”
