Dhaka: One person was killed and several others sustained injuries on Monday as a training aircraft of the Bangladesh Air Force crashed into a building of Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka, said a media source, Monday.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Bangladesh newspaper Prothom Alo reported quoting the Fire Service that one person was killed and around 25 others, mostly students, were taken to National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute at Dhaka Medical College for treatment as the aircraft crashed on the school building.
A press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate stated that the aircraft took off at 1:06 pm local time and crashed soon after.
