Kuwait City: The Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa arrived in Kuwait on Sunday, leading a delegation to participate in the 45th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit, which is set to take place later today. The Crown Prince's arrival marks a significant moment for regional cooperation, with discussions anticipated to address key issues impacting the Gulf region. According to Kuwait News Agency, Crown Prince Al-Khalifa was warmly received at the Amiri Terminal by an esteemed welcoming committee. His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah were present to greet him. The reception also included the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al-Saud Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Shereeda Al-Mousherji, and Secretary-General of the GCC Jassem Al-Budaiwi, along with other senior officials. The honorary delegation was led by the Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, highlighting the importance of the summit and the strong ties between the neighboring nations. The Bahraini delegation accompanying Crown Prince Al-Khalifa consists of several high-ranking officials, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani, Minister of Finance and National Economy Sheikh Salman Al-Khalifa, Minister of Legal Affairs Yousef Khalaf, Minister of Health Dr. Jalela Hassan, Minister of Cabinet Affairs Hamad Al-Malki, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning Amna Al-Rumaihi, and Minister of Industry and Commerce Abdullah Fakhro. These officials are expected to engage in comprehensive discussions during the summit to further enhance regional cooperation and address mutual interests among the GCC member states.
