Bahrain to mark Gulf Family Day on September 14

The Kingdom of Bahrain will mark the Gulf Family Day, annually observed on September 14.

 

The Ministry of Social Development hailed Bahraini family’s strides, praising the vision and directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

 

It also lauded the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which contributed to protecting Bahraini families through national legislations.

 

It commended the strategies spearheaded by the Supreme Council of Women, presided by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifam Consort of HM the King, to further enhance the Kingdom’s standing and support Bahraini families.

 

The ministry pledged to continue social policies aimed at empowering Bahraini families, indicating that it launches a string of initiatives, projects and programmes aimed to serve development needs.

 

It highlighted cooperation with official authorities and the civil society to further promote social security and support development efforts, in line with the constitution and the National Action Charter which guarantee liberties and families’ rights.

 

In a statement today, it stressed the pivotal role played by Bahraini families in serving society and bringing up a thoughtful generation which contributes to social and economic development.

 

The ministry pledged full priority to supporting Bahraini families which play a fundamental role in supporting development, through pioneering projects aimed at empowering individuals and families, within national strategies.
