Manama: Inaugurating the 46th Summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council, current Chair King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifah of Bahrain spoke about the challenges facing member states and highlighted achievements.
According to Kuwait News Agency, GCC Secretary General Jassem Al-Budaiwi also addressed the gathering, focusing on the accomplishments achieved throughout the last session, which was headed by the State of Kuwait.
The GCC Summit then transitioned into a closed-door session, where attending leaders will discuss regional challenges and strategies for addressing them.
