Manama: The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declared its firm stance against any encroachment on Kuwait's maritime sovereignty. It urged adherence to international law rules and the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, encouraging compliance with existing bilateral understandi ngs, agreements, and memoranda of understanding.
