Kuwait city: The International Jumping Championship, organized by the Kuwait Police Sports Federation, culminated in a ceremony to honor the top riders from the Arab region and beyond. The event celebrated its conclusion on Saturday with a showcase of exceptional talent and skill in the equestrian sport. According to Kuwait News Agency, Abdullah Al-Awadhi claimed the title of the championship's grand prix race with a successful 145-cm jump completed in 43.47 seconds. He was closely followed by Hamad Al-Hajeri and Ali Al-Kharafi, with the British rider Chad Fellows, Fawaz Al-Subai'e, Anaz Al-Annaz, Rakan Al-Hassawi, and Zayn Samir rounding out the top finishers. In the medium category of the championship, Faisal Al-Shatti led the 135-cm jump. Indian participant Sojubaby excelled in the 115-cm category, while Ahmad Al-Shabib claimed victory in the 105-cm event. Hala Al-Mulla emerged as the leader in the 130-cm competition, with Madhi Al-Khamis, Abdulrahman Al-Fzei, Faisal Al-Shatti, Aws Al-Tannak, and Manei Al-Ajmi following in the rankings. The 120-cm competition was led by Mohammad Zamel Al-Shemmeri, whereas Talal Al-Hazim secured the win in the 110-cm amateurs' competition. The minor award was claimed by Ghanima Al-Marzouq, who led the 125-cm competition. She was followed by Mohammad Al-Ajeil and Marya Bushehri, who secured second and third places, respectively. The three-day event took place in the Sabhan area under the auspices of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Youssuf Saud Al-Sabah. The ceremony was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Maj.-Gen. Abdulwahab Ahmad Al-Waheeb and President of the Kuwait Olympic Committee Sheikh Fahad Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
