Kuwait city: A series of remarkable astronomical phenomena will be observed in Kuwait during November bringing together spectacular planetary conjunctions, various phases of the Moon, and meteor showers which are considered among the most beautiful phenomena observable with the naked eye, Al-Ajiri Scientific Center (ASC) announced on Saturday.
According to Kuwait News Agency, in a press release, the center said November will be the richest month of events throughout the year. These phenomena will appear as of Sunday with the conjunction of the Moon and Saturn, as they come closer to each other, passing at a distance of approximately three degrees, it noted.
On November 5, the Moon will reach its full phase, known as the "Beaver Moon", a name historically associated with the season when beavers build their dams during this time of the year, the Moon will be full, it pointed out. These phenomena will conclude on November 20 with the appearance of the new Moon and the beginning of the crescent of the month of Jumada al-Akhirah, when the Sun and Moon are aligned in a single line, the center elaborated.
