Armenia Keen on Building Sustainable Economic Partnerships with Kuwait

Kuwait city: Armenia's First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry, Gevorg Mantashyan, affirmed the country's commitment to deepening economic cooperation with Kuwait and establishing sustainable partnerships. This announcement was made during an Armenian economic delegation's visit to the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). According to Kuwait News Agency, Mantashyan emphasized both governments' efforts to create a supportive environment for business and joint investment, highlighting Armenia's readiness to facilitate turning opportunities into real projects. Armenia's Ambassador to Kuwait, Arsen Arakelyan, also underscored the longstanding ties between the two nations, citing the launch of direct flights between Kuwait and Yerevan last year and ongoing efforts to expand air connectivity, which aims to boost trade and tourism. Assistant Director General of KCCI, Firas Al-Oudah, noted that the meeting reflects a commitment to expanding international partnerships. He acknowledged that while curre nt trade volumes are limited, there is significant potential for growth, particularly in the sectors of innovation, technology, and private enterprise. The meeting included representatives from Kuwaiti government bodies and an Armenian delegation comprising 15 members from various sectors such as investment, energy, tourism, IT, logistics, and food industries.
