Riyadh: The Arab Organization for Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI) initiated its 68th Executive Council meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with an active delegation from Kuwait’s Audit Bureau led by President Essam Al-Roumi.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Dr. Saud Al-Zamanan, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative, Financial and Information Technology Affairs, stated that the meeting focused on reviewing reports from the Executive Council’s Chairman and the General Secretariat about the organization’s activities. The discussions also included assessments from various institutional development committees and professional standards.
Furthermore, the meeting explored strategies to enhance oversight capabilities and develop modern approaches to achieve sustainable development goals. Al-Zamanan highlighted that the Council approved the final accounts and the projected budget for 2025, emphasizing the importance of addressing the growing challenges in governance and financial transparency.
