Arab League Secretary General Condemns Israeli Airstrikes on Gaza

Kuwait City: Arab League Secretary General Ahmad Abul-Gheit strongly condemned Tuesday the Israeli occupation's airstrikes on Gaza that resulted in the deaths of hundreds, including many women and children.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Abul-Gheit labeled the resumption of violence in Gaza as an inhumane act and a challenge to international efforts that supported the ceasefire agreement. He urged the international community to exert pressure on the occupation to halt attacks on Gaza and to return to ceasefire negotiations. He emphasized the need for an agreement on prisoner exchanges and an end to the ongoing conflict.

Gaza health authorities reported that 413 Palestinians were killed, and hundreds more were injured due to the Israeli occupation's airstrikes carried out in the early hours of Tuesday.
