Arab League deplores Israeli attacks across Palestinian villages

The Arab League on Thursday strongly condemned a series of attacks by Israeli settlers on Palestinian villages, slamming the incidents as acts of “terrorism.” These attacks resulted in injuries to scores of Palestinians, in addition to damage inflicted on numerous properties, the Cairo-based bloc said in a statement, describing the expansion in Israeli settlements across the West Bank as “systemic” brutality and violence.

The international community should shoulder the “political and legal” obligation to intervene and put an end to such acts of violence, the statement underlined.
