Arab-French Economic Summit Commences in Paris

PARIS: The fifth edition of the Arab-French Economic Summit commenced on Thursday, focusing on the future of economic relations between Arab states and France. The event is set to explore cooperation across various regions, including the Arab Maghreb, eastern Arab countries, and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. According to Kuwait News Agency, the summit features three sessions dedicated to different regional blocs, with discussions aimed at strengthening ties and exploring opportunities for collaboration. In the evening, a broad session will take place where VIPs are expected to deliver lectures on the state and prospects of French-Arab economic relations. The summit is held under the patronage of French President Emmanuel Macron and is co-organized by the French-Arab Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Arab Chambers, and the Federation of Small and Medium Establishments. The international chamber of commerce and the French employers association are also supporting the event.
