Arab Bowling Championship Begins in Cairo with Strong Kuwaiti Participation.

Cairo: The 11th Arab Bowling Championship for men's and women's teams commenced on Sunday, featuring competitors from 10 Arab countries, including Kuwait. According to Kuwait News Agency, the competition kicked off with notable performances from Kuwaiti women's players. Wasmia Abdullah secured the fifth position, while her teammates Sharifa Iskandar, Rania Al-Zayed, and Ghalia Ali achieved the 9th, 13th, and 23rd positions, respectively. The tournament includes a variety of contests such as singles, doubles, and trios team events. Participating countries encompass Jordan, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Iraq, as well as the hosts Egypt and Kuwait. The men's team events are scheduled to take place later in the day. Kuwait's delegation, led by Iyad al-Omairi, comprises ten players who will compete until the tournament concludes on November 10.
