Doha: Foreign ministers of Arab and Islamic countries began a closed-door meeting in the Qatari capital, Doha, in preparation for the emergency Arab-Islamic summit scheduled for Monday. The Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported that the meeting, chaired by Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, will be attended by foreign ministers of member states of the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting will discuss a draft statement regarding the Israeli attack on the State of Qatar on September 9, which targeted the residential headquarters of several leaders of the Palestinian Hamas movement in Doha.
