The Military Intelligence arrested a terrorist affiliated with a terrorist group operating for the so-called Salah al-Din Province, targeting the electric power towers in Salah al-Din.
A statement by the Security Media Cell stated that, with a qualitative operation and a distinguished intelligence effort, and according to accurate intelligence information of the 21st Division, in cooperation with the Intelligence Department of the Salah al-Din Operations Command, and by reconnaissance of the drone detachment affiliated to the Military Intelligence Directorate, an elaborate ambush was set up at the entrance to the village of Sabiha al-Bakara, and as a result, one person was arrested who is wanted by the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law, and he was working in the so-called Salah al-Din state to transport explosives, ammunition and other materials.
It explained that a large stack of ordnance and explosives hidden under the ground was seized, which was intended for terrorist operations targeting electric power transmission towers on the Baiji-Haditha road in Salah al-Din Governorate, and the explosive devices, and materials were dealt with in accordance with the applicable contexts. / End
