An Earthquake Hits Kahramanmara?, Southern Turkey

An earthquake measuring 4.2 degrees struck, this morning, Sunday, the state of Kahramanmaras, in southern Turkey.

The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced that the earthquake occurred at 10:05 local time, with its epicenter in Gokson district in the state, and it was at a depth of 22.17 km, according to the data published by “AFAD” on its website.

Another earthquake, measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale, struck this morning the Chamardi region in the state of Nigde, central Turkey.

The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Authority stated that the earthquake occurred at 01:26 in the Chamardi area of Nigde, at a depth of 6.99 km below the surface of the earth, and was felt by the residents of the city center of Nigde./ End
