The Intelligence Agency announced today, Friday, the arrest of a murderer and a drug dealer, and the conviction of four defendants with various sentences, including death by hanging, in Najaf.
The Agency stated, in a statement, that “the detachments of the Intelligence Agency in the holy city of Najaf managed to carry out qualitative operations that resulted in the arrest of a murderer and the seizure of the crime weapon in his possession, and the arrest of drug stores and the seizure of narcotic substances in his possession.
It added, “Four defendants were convicted and sentenced under different provisions. The first participated in and contributed to providing terrorist groups with information that included the locations and movements of members of the security services and the popular crowd in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law, and the others participated in a killing operation in accordance with the provisions of Article 406.”/ End
