Kuwait city: The Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah and the Head of the Diwan of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah welcomed the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Blind Association, Fayez Al-Azmi, along with board members at Bayan Palace.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Sheikh Hamad emphasized the commitment of the wise political leadership to support individuals with disabilities. This commitment includes the removal of obstacles and the utilization of available resources to ensure their empowerment and full integration into society.
Sheikh Hamad congratulated the Kuwait Blind Association on its recent achievements, including assuming the presidency of the Asian Blind Federation and gaining membership in the Council of the World Blind Union. He expressed pride in these accomplishments, which elevate Kuwait's status in both regional and international arenas.
Both Sheikh Hamad and Sheikh Thamer commended the innovative role the Association has played since its inception. They acknowledged its dedication to serving its members, providing them with comfort and empowerment, and fostering their active participation in societal activities.
