Kuwait city: Kuwaiti Minister of Amiri Diwan Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah visited the Chief of Civil Aviation Authority, Sheikh Eng. Humoud Mubarak Al-Sabah, at the Authority's headquarters. During the visit, he conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to the Authority's employees, acknowledging their dedicated efforts.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Minister Al-Sabah congratulated the Authority's Chief on the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) honoring of Kuwait. This recognition comes in light of Kuwait's significant progress in establishing an effective security monitoring system, as acknowledged during the 42nd General Assembly meetings held in Montreal, Canada. Minister Al-Sabah expressed pride in this achievement, highlighting the successful implementation of directives from His Highness the Amir that contributed to this recognition.
The Amiri Diwan Minister also praised the efforts of the Authority in advancing the aviation sector, aligning with the state's strategic development goals in transportation and infrastructure. These efforts ensure the safety and sustainability of civil aviation. He emphasized the Authority's critical role as the state's gateway to the world and a driver of the economy, tourism, and investments.
