Kuwait city: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, along with His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, paid a visit to the Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) on Tuesday.
According to Kuwait News Agency, upon arrival, His Highness the Amir was welcomed by First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah and KFF chief Maj. Gen. Talal Al-Roumi. Addressing the KFF staff, His Highness the Amir extended congratulations for the holy month of Ramadan and Kuwait's national days. He expressed appreciation for the KFF's efforts in saving lives and protecting property, emphasizing the importance of loyalty and responsibility in ensuring societal safety.
His Highness the Amir praised the ongoing human development initiatives within the KFF, highlighting the education and training system and the empowerment of women. He also appreciated the cooperation between military and security institutions and the development of partnerships with both public and private sectors.
Acknowledging Kuwait's leading status in safety and security, His Highness lauded the "International Commander Medal" awarded by the International Civil Defense Organization to Sheikh Fahad Al-Yusuf. He affirmed Kuwait's support for the KFF, instructing officials to expand services to keep pace with urban growth and enhance both human and field potential.
His Highness urged KFF officials to raise digital awareness and conduct more field tours to promote a culture of protection and safety. He also emphasized enhancing the foreign training program and fostering regional and international collaborations to stay abreast of the latest technical and military developments.
Maj. Gen. Talal Al-Roumi expressed the honor of welcoming His Highness the Amir, noting that the visit bolsters the spirit of responsibility and belonging among KFF personnel. He highlighted the positive impact of the Amir's previous instructions on enhancing staff vigilance and readiness, resulting in a protocol with the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters to preserve the nation's heritage and property.
Al-Roumi announced the inauguration of the first Artificial Intelligence officer, marking a new phase of digital and technological transformation within the KFF. This initiative aims to incorporate modern technology and is targeted at KFF personnel, entrepreneurs, and various community segments.
