Amb. Al-Enzi Highlights Gulf-EU Meetings in Kuwait as Key to Strengthening Regional Security

Kuwait city: Kuwait's Ambassador to Belgium and head of its missions to the EU and NATO Nawaf Al-Enzi announced that the forthcoming Gulf-EU meetings in Kuwait, scheduled for early October, are set to establish a new milestone in enhancing regional security and international cooperation.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Enzi mentioned that Kuwait is preparing to host the second High-Level Forum on Regional Security on October 5, the 29th Joint Ministerial Council on October 6, and the Gulf-EU Business Forum on November 5. These gatherings are expected to offer significant opportunities to deepen political, security, and economic collaboration, underscoring Kuwait's active role as a diplomatic conduit between the Gulf and European regions.

The ambassador emphasized that both sides anticipate practical outcomes that will strengthen their strategic partnership. European representatives have expressed their appreciation for Kuwait's efforts in facilitating these important discussions. He further stated that the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the EU are dedicated to advancing cooperation in areas such as research, education, environmental protection, and the long-discussed free trade agreement, which has seen considerable progress.
