Algerian President Praises Strong Ties and Mutual Respect with Kuwaiti Leadership

Algiers: Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has highlighted the distinguished relations and deep respect between Algeria and Kuwait, emphasizing Kuwait's significant role in Algerian society. He noted these sentiments during a media interview aired by Algerian state television on Saturday evening, where he commended Kuwait's commitment to the success of the Arab Summit hosted by Algeria in 2022. Tebboune specifically recalled the Kuwaiti leadership's promise to be the first to arrive and the last to depart, reflecting their dedication to Arab unity.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Tebboune underscored Algeria's strong fraternal ties with other Arab states, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Qatar. He emphasized Algeria's commitment to defending all Arab countries and causes, viewing the Arab nation as a unified entity with a shared destiny. This perspective underscores Algeria's stance on Arab solidarity, collective responsibility, and mutual support.

In terms of economic prospects, Tebboune expressed optimism about Algeria's future, predicting that the country's gross domestic product will exceed 400 billion dollars by 2027. He affirmed the continuation of national reforms and major projects aimed at advancing development and achieving sustainable democratic governance objectives across the nation.
