Algiers: Algeria on Friday celebrated the 70th anniversary of its liberation with a broad military parade attended by dignitaries, heads of state, and diplomats. President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, serving as the minister of defense, oversaw the event, accompanied by top military commanders. The parade was set against the backdrop of military music and the sound of artillery thunder. According to Kuwait News Agency, large crowds gathered opposite the seaside parade venue, which was located near the Great Mosque. The occasion marks the Al-Fateh Revolution against colonialism, a significant event in Algeria's history.
