ALECSO Urges Global Efforts for Peaceful Palestinian Resolution

Kuwait city: The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) has issued a call to action for international efforts to secure a just and peaceful resolution for the Palestinian people. ALECSO has emphasized the necessity of basing such efforts on internationally agreed terms of reference, with the ultimate goal of ending the occupation and establishing an independent Palestinian state, with Jerusalem serving as its capital. According to Kuwait News Agency, ALECSO released this statement in conjunction with the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. The organization highlighted that solidarity with Palestine is both a moral and humanitarian duty. The observance of this day serves as a renewed appeal to enhance dialogue, enforce the rule of law, and consolidate efforts aimed at reducing human suffering while supporting peace and development initiatives in the region. Expressing grave concern over ongoing tensions in Palestine, ALECSO drew attention to the violations impacting civilians and infrastructure, including educational and cultural institutions.
