Kuwait city: Al-Shabab on Friday defeated Al-Jahraa 1-2 in the ninth round of the Zain Football Premier League. The match, which took place at Mubarak Al-Ayyar Stadium, saw Al-Shabab securing a victory on their opponent's home ground, boosting their position in the league standings.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Shabab's Bruno Louis was instrumental in the win, scoring two crucial goals in the 46th and 80th minutes of the game. Al-Jahraa managed to score a late goal through Yusuf Ayed in the 87th minute, but it wasn't enough to change the outcome of the match.
With this victory, Al-Shabab's total points have increased to 13, allowing them to temporarily hold the fourth position in the league. On the other hand, Al-Jahraa remains in the eighth position with seven points.
