KUWAIT CITY: Al-Sabah Hospital has been acknowledged as one of Kuwait's premier medical facilities, as highlighted by Kuwaiti Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi. The minister praised the hospital's extensive medical expertise during his address at the inauguration of the hospital's first scientific conference.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Dr. Al-Awadhi emphasized recent significant accomplishments at Al-Sabah Hospital. Among these is the introduction of an innovative epilepsy monitoring unit for children, noted for being the first of its kind in Kuwait. This development has notably decreased the number of patients needing to seek medical treatment abroad.
The minister also detailed the expansion of the Gastroenterology Department, aimed at accommodating more patients and minimizing waiting list durations. Furthermore, the launch of a critical medical care unit for children in 2022 was highlighted, along with the provision of specialized surgical treatments, enhancing the hospital's service offerings.
