Al-Hilal struck back and equalized in the 46th minute through Marcos Leonardo. After halftime, Al-Hilal scored through Malcom in the 52nd minute, but the celebration was short-lived when Erling Haaland scored the equalizer in the 55th minute. Al-Hilal upped the ante, scoring through Kalidou Koulibaly in the 94th minute, and a few minutes later, Man City came back through Phil Foden in the 104th minute. Al-Hilal sealed the deal with a goal from Marcos Leonardo again in the 112th minute of the match, earning his team a spot in the quarterfinals. Al-Hilal is scheduled to meet with Brazil's Fluminense on July fourth, while compatriots Palmeiras will clash with Ch elsea on July fifth, a date which will also see French PSG facing Germany's Bayern Munich.
