Orlando: Saudi Al-Hilal managed to upset Manchester City fans, edging the English team by 4-3 goals in their Round 16 match of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 held in the US until July 14. According to Kuwait News Agency, Manchester City opened the score in the ninth minute via Bernardo Silva in the match held in Orlando, Florida's Camping World Stadium. Al-Hilal struck back and equalized in the 46th minute through Marcos Leonardo. After halftime, Al-Hilal scored through Malcom in the 52nd minute, but the celebration was short-lived when Erling Haaland scored the equalizer in the 55th minute. Al-Hilal upped the ante, scoring through Kalidou Koulibaly in the 94th minute, and a few minutes later, Man City came back through Phil Foden in the 104th minute. Al-Hilal sealed the deal with a goal from Marcos Leonardo again in the 112th minute of the match, earning his team a spot in the quarterfinals. Al-Hilal is scheduled to meet with Brazil's Fluminense on July fourth, while compatriots Palmeiras will clash with Ch elsea on July fifth, a date which will also see French PSG facing Germany's Bayern Munich.
