Al-Halbousi receives an invitation letter to visit Serbia

Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, received an invitation letter to visit Serbia.

Al-Halbousi’s office stated: “The Speaker of Parliament met today, in separate meetings, with the Serbian Ambassador Oroch Balov, the Japanese Ambassador Futoshi Matsumoto, and the Australian Ambassador Paula Elizabeth Ganley.”

He added, “The meetings discussed bilateral relations, enhancing cooperation between Iraq and its friends in the economic and investment aspects, supporting the government in implementing its program, as well as discussing a number of issues of common interest.”

For their part, the Ambassadors affirmed, during the meetings, their support for Iraq and everything that contributes to achieving its development and stability.

Al-Halbousi also received an invitation letter from the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Vladimir Orlac, to visit Serbia in the framework of strengthening relations and cooperation between the two parliaments.
