Al-Hakim Meets Former PM Abdul-Mahdi And Calls For Perpetuating Stability And Turning It Into A Permanent One

The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, discussed today with former Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi the developments of the political scene in Iraq and the region.

A statement by his media office stated, “The two sides renewed their praise for approving the budget for three years, and hold officials and governors responsible for providing services and improving the municipal reality.”

Al-Hakim called for “perpetuating stability and turning it into a permanent one,” stressing that “Iraq is the first beneficiary of eliminating the region’s crises.”

He praised “the role of the successive Iraqi governments that paved the way for the rapprochement of the parties in the region, and the current government has strengthened it with practical steps.”
