Manama, Bahrain International Airport’s Passport Services have achieved global recognition, ranking third in the 2024 World Airline Awards by Skytrax. This accolade, awarded in the “Best Airport Passport Services” category, highlights the airport’s efficiency, speed of procedures, ease of movement, and traveler satisfaction.
The recognition reflects the dedication of the Nationality, Passports, and Residence Affairs (NPRA) in enhancing traveler experiences at Bahrain International Airport. Singapore Changi Airport and Zurich International Airport in Switzerland took the first and second spots respectively, with Bahrain securing third place.
Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for NPRA at the Interior Ministry, reaffirmed the commitment to providing top-notch services at Bahrain International Airport, reinforcing Bahrain’s position as a regional air transport hub.
Al Khalifa emphasised the vital role of Airport Passport Services in facilitating traveler procedures and enhancing their ov
erall experience. He also praised the effective collaboration between NPRA and Bahrain Airport Services.
Skytrax World Airlines, a London-based consultancy established in 1989, conducts annual awards based on traveler reviews, recognising excellence in the aviation industry.
