Abdullah Al-Salem University and Medical Responsibility Authority Forge New Partnership

Kuwait city: Abdullah Al-Salem University signed a memorandum of understanding with the Medical Responsibility Authority to establish a general framework for cooperation and coordination in expertise exchange and support for scientific research. The memorandum aims to enhance institutional integration and advance professional development, and was signed at the university's administration building in Khaldiya.

According to Kuwait News Agency, University Director Dr. Mona Al-Ahmad stated in a press release following the signing that the partnership aligns with the university's approach to building effective cooperation with national specialized bodies. She noted that the agreement will contribute to developing applied knowledge, enhancing the quality of academic outcomes, and supporting national competencies.

Dr. Al-Ahmad added that the memorandum represents an important step toward linking academic programs with professional practice and providing training and research opportunities for students and faculty members.

Head of the Medical Responsibility Authority, Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah, praised the university's efforts during its foundational phase. He affirmed that the partnership marks a significant step toward strengthening integration between the academic and professional sectors. Dr. Al-Sabah noted that the agreement will support cooperation in medical and legal aspects, including technical committee work and research activities, contributing to the development and efficiency of Kuwait's healthcare system.

The memorandum seeks to promote joint academic activities related to medical and legal fields, further reinforcing institutional integration and professional advancement. The Medical Responsibility Authority is an independent government body established in 2020 to regulate the practice of medicine and allied professions, patients' rights, and healthcare facilities in Kuwait.
