Dozens of Basra residents called on the security authorities to close headquarters in the presidential palaces building.
The demonstrators, in a demonstration in front of the Teaching Hospital building, condemned the targeting of some homes with sound bombs and the threat to societal peace in Basra.
The demonstrators indicated that these headquarters are exploited by some groups, while the security forces intensified their deployment and blocked the main roads.
