The Director General of the Administrative and Legal Department at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Riyad Abdul-Amir Al-Halfi, inspected today, Friday, in the presence of the Director General of Basra Health department, Dr. Abbas Khalaf Al-Tamimi, the preparations of providing medical and health services at Shalamjah border crossing for the visitors of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
Al-Halfi met the director of the outlet and discussed with him the mechanism of receiving visitors and the services provided to them.
After that, he inspected the health center at Shalamcheh crossing, and the emergency hall, the center’s units, and the Basra mobile hospital detachment stationed outside the border of the port were inspected to provide medical services to visitors arriving from the Iranian side through the Shalamcheh border crossing heading to the holy city of Karbala to perform the Arbaeen visit of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
