A Dangerous Network Of Human Trafficking Headed By A Woman Arrested In Baghdad

The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency at the Ministry of Interior dismantled a dangerous network of human trafficking, headed by a woman in Baghdad.

The Security Media Cell stated in a statement, that: “After receiving intelligence information about the existence of a gang headed by a woman, which exploits children and women in human trafficking, brokerage and prostitution, a specialized intelligence work team was formed, and after obtaining judicial approvals and with a tight ambush, the suspects were lured and arrested red-handed.

The statement added, “The investigation papers were presented to the competent judge, and he decided to arrest them in accordance with Article 6/First, Second, and Sixth of the Human Trafficking and Victims Act, according to Resolution 234 of 2001.”/ End
